Your privacy and personal safety are important to me. Because Social Companionship involves meeting people who may initially know each other only through online communication, I require reasonable identity verification before agreeing to a first meeting.

This Privacy Notice explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how I use it, and how I handle it.

1. Information I Collect

Before agreeing to meet a new client, I may require the following:

A. Portrait Photograph

I require a clear, unobstructed, recent photograph showing your face.

This is used to help confirm that the person communicating with me online is the same person who arrives for the scheduled meeting.

B. Driver's Licence Verification

For identity and personal-safety verification, I require a clear image of your driver's licence to be provided by email before our first meeting.

To protect your privacy, only the following information needs to remain visible:

• First name
• Last name
• Age or date of birth
• Photograph

All other information on the driver's licence may and should be masked , including your residential address, driver's licence number, signature, physical description, document numbers, and any other information that is not necessary for this verification process.

The purpose of this verification is simply to confirm that the person I am communicating with is the same person who will attend the meeting and to establish basic identity information for personal safety and accountability.

I do not require your residential address, driver's licence number, or other identifying information contained on the licence.

If you are unwilling to provide the required identity-verification information, I will not be able to schedule or accommodate a first meeting.

2. Why I Collect This Information

I collect identity-verification information for legitimate safety and accountability purposes.

My service involves meeting people in person, including potentially spending extended periods together and, after an established level of trust, potentially meeting in a private residence.

Identity verification helps protect both parties and discourages the use of false identities or misleading information.

This information is not collected for advertising, marketing, resale, or any unrelated purpose.

Identity, Age & Safety Verification

1. Identity and personal safety: The name shown on the identification allows me to know who I am actually communicating with and who I am agreeing to meet. This provides an additional safety measure when meeting someone I initially know only through online communication.
2. Age verification: The date of birth on the identification is used to confirm that the person requesting an in-person meeting is an adult. I do not provide services to minors.
3. Photograph comparison: The photograph on the identification is compared with the portrait photograph supplied during the booking process. This helps me confirm that the person communicating with me is the same person whose identification was provided and the person I will actually be meeting.

3. How I Use Your Information

Personal information provided during the verification process may be used only for purposes such as:

• Confirming your identity before our first meeting.
• Confirming that the person I communicate with online is the person who attends the meeting.
• Maintaining reasonable personal-safety records.
• Addressing a legitimate safety, security, or incident-related concern.
• Cooperating with law enforcement or another appropriate authority where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary in connection with a serious incident.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

I do not use your identification information to advertise to you or share it with other clients.

4. Driver's Licence Retention

I understand that a driver's licence contains sensitive identifying information, which is why I request that unnecessary information be masked before the licence is provided.

The driver's licence image is collected only for the limited purpose of verifying your identity and providing an additional personal-safety measure before meeting.

The driver's licence image will be provided by email and kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated verification and safety purpose.

After a successful first date, I will delete the driver's licence email, including the attached identification image, and any other copies under my control.

If there is a legitimate safety, security, legal, or incident-related reason requiring the information to be preserved, deletion may be delayed until the matter has been appropriately resolved or the information is no longer reasonably required.

When the information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or destroyed.

Please understand that email is an electronic communication system and that information transmitted by email may be temporarily stored, backed up, synchronized, or processed by the email provider or other technical systems outside my control. I cannot guarantee that deletion from my account immediately removes every technical or backup copy maintained by an email provider.

5. Information You Should Mask

For your privacy, you should mask information on your driver's licence that is not required for identity verification.

The following information should remain visible:
• First name
• Last name
• Age or date of birth
• Photograph

The following information should be masked where it appears on your licence:
• Residential address
• Driver's licence number
• Signature
• Physical description
• Document or identification numbers
• Any other information not required for identity verification

(Please do not provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the verification process.)

6. Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Access to verification information is limited to me and, where applicable, persons or service providers who legitimately need access to perform a necessary function on my behalf.

I will not knowingly make your driver's licence or other identity-verification information publicly available.

7. Photographs

Your verification photograph is used primarily to confirm your identity and help ensure that the person I meet is the person with whom I communicated.

It will not be publicly posted, sold, or used in advertising without your explicit permission.

8. Disclosure of Information

I respect the confidentiality of our communications and meetings.

I will not voluntarily provide your personal information to other clients or members of the public.

However, confidentiality is not an absolute guarantee. Information may be disclosed where I reasonably believe disclosure is necessary or legally required, including in circumstances involving:

• A serious safety concern.
• A suspected crime or other unlawful activity.
• A court order, warrant, subpoena, or other legal requirement.
• A request from law enforcement where disclosure is authorized or required by law.
• An emergency involving a serious threat to someone's safety.

If a serious incident occurs, relevant information may be preserved and provided to the appropriate authorities where legally permitted or required.

9. Communications and Online Information

Please remember that no method of electronic communication is completely risk-free.

Information sent by email, text message, messaging application, website form, or other electronic method may potentially be exposed through circumstances outside my control.

For your own privacy, please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary messages.

10. Accuracy of Information

Please provide truthful and accurate information during the screening and scheduling process.

Providing false identification, impersonating another person, or deliberately providing misleading information may result in the meeting being cancelled and future requests being declined.

11. Privacy Requests

If you have a question about the personal information I hold about you, how it is being used, or whether information has been deleted, you may contact me using the contact information provided on this website.

I will make reasonable efforts to respond to privacy-related requests and address legitimate concerns about the handling of personal information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Notice

I may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes to my services, privacy practices, or applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be posted on this website with its effective date.
